Kim Hyun Joong ended the 'Boys over Flowers' alumni event in big success.

On August 21 in a particular hotel in town of Tokyo, Kim Hyun Joong had carried out several interviews with several significant Japanese presses.

Following after 'Boys over Flowers' success, Kim Hyun Joong has went on to take on the lead role in similar manga-adapted drama 'Playful Kiss', and because of that, during his stay in Japan all the while, he's been receiving much attention from the media and fans for that.

Kim Hyun Joong's popularity and fame could thus be proved with the strong curiosity coming from media presses asking about his drama shooting schedules, future career plans, and of course along with many other questions.

After that, Kim Hyun Joong attended to the 'Boys over Flowers - Alumni event' with fellow cast mates Goo Hyesun, Kim Bum, Kim Jun at Osaka Grand Cube Hall on 18th, and then to Tokyo International Forum on 21st. In both the two sessions on the 21st Aug at 3pm and 7pm respectively, a total of more than 10K audiences filled the audience seats, leaving out none at all, which once again proved the solidity of HyunJoong's high popularity.

At the event, in order to repay fans who went to fill the venue with all kinds of placards imprinted with HyunJoong's name and pictures to show him support, he managed to spin some hours of meaningful time with them amidst the amiable atmosphere. He also shared interesting behind the scenes stories of shooting for Boys over Flowers back then and also his current drama 'Playful Kiss'.

A related Japanese media personnel who made his way to the alumni event expressed, "Kim Hyun Joong is an artist who is receiving large amount of attention right now with his status as the Hanryu star of the next generation. I'm looking forward to seeing his active and more full-fledged activities in not just Japan and Korea where he's starring as an actor for Playful Kiss, but also in each asian country".

On the other hand, Kim Hyun Joong who will return to Korea on 22 Aug will head straight back into shooting for drama 'Playful Kiss'. His new MBC Wed-Thurs mini-series drama 'Playful Kiss' will air on September 1.

Through KBS2 TV 'Boys over Flowers' reunion event, Kim Hyun Joong reunited with his fellow castmates and fans. Hyun Joong "doesn't want to graduate".

Kim Hyun Joong spent an enjoyable time with Goo Hye Sun, Kim Bum and Kim Bum, his fellow cast mates on the last 18th August at 2 showtime sessions of 3PM and 7PM respectively at Osaka Grand Cube Hall.

On this day, even before the official event began, hundreds of thousands of fans gathered in an orderly manner to await the entry into the event hall, which was quite a sight. In order to catch a glimpse of Kim Hyun Joong who will be standing on the stages of those 2 showtime sessions, hundreds of thousands fans filled Osaka Grand Cube Hall and grabbed every possible seat at once.With all the many seats sold out for each session, it showed the enthusiastic and passionate welcome from fans towards them.

Kim Hyun Joong who wasn't able to partake in the 'Boys over Flowers - Graduation Event' last April expressed, "Was quite sad that I couldn't take part in the last event. So I'm happy I can meet everyone again in this time's alumni event", "There's no need for a graduation cert", thus driving laughters from the audiences present. Following that, with the teaser of drama 'Playful Kiss' that is in midst of shooting played on screens, he continued to share interesting episodes that happened on set, thus bringing anticipation of this drama to another level.

Following the drama's scene, a 'Confession game' was brought on to stage where all casts members came honest and joyously about questions asked, which again aroused laughters from fans...

On the final item of the event, Kim Hyun Joong sung and danced 'Thank you' and 'Please be nice to me', he also greeted the fans warmly and thus brought the event to a comfortable end.

Kim Hyun Joong will be heading back for Korea after the 2nd Boys over Flowers alumni event on 21st in Tokyo. He will also be conducting several many interviews with main and significant media presses. After his return to Korea, he will be dwelve straight back into shooting for MBC Wed-Thurs drama 'Playful Kiss'.

[기사] 17th HJ arrives for Bof event

For the sake of drama "Boys over Flowers" alumni event, Kim Hyun Joong arrived in Japan Osaka's Kansai international airport at around 7pm evening of 17 August and received enthusiastic welcome from fans.

On the afternoon of 17th when Kim HyunJoong was preparing to leave for Japan, it was said that Kansai airport had already began to grow in crowds. Though his exact time of arrival was not specifically known, starting from around noon, fans had begun to clamp into airport and very quickly, it increased exponentially to about 200 of them and more at once. And so because of safety reasons, private security guards and policemen had to be mobilized on the spot, which was quite a sight.

Kim Hyun Joong arrived in the Kansai airport at around 7pm in the evening and received the warm welcome of about a few hundred fans who were standing in an orderly manner and awaiting him. HyunJoong flashed his bright smile and waved at his fans as soon as he stepped out of the exit gate, and of course too, not forgetting to return greetings. Quite some fans stayed behind even after HyunJoong left the airport and shared their joy and happiness with one another.

This time's event has brought about massive concern because it is the gathering of the casts of hit drama "Boys over Flowers" which did not only gain fame in Korea but also in Japan. The casts will be congregated in one spot and watch the famous/memorable scenes along with fans in Japan, in addition, video footages from the past BoF events will be recapped as well. This event will spin meaningful and lasting memories with fans.

Keyeast related personnel said that "although HyunJoong has been shooting for drama day and night, he has been forking out time to prepare for this stage too. Since it's been quite some time he'll be meeting BoF fans again, he's been working hard for preparations so as to create beautiful memories with fans".

Kim Hyun Joong along with Goo Hyesun, Kim Bum and Kim Jun will be carrying out "Boys over Flowers - Alumni Event" on 18th in Osaka, and 21st in Tokyo, with 2 showtimes per day. Lee Minho cannot partake due to some personal schedule.
