Group SS501's leader Kim Hyun Joong revealed his stand to his team's disbandment after his recruitment into new agency.

On 26th afternoon at 2pm at Seoul kangnam-gu, Nonhyundong's Imperial Palace hotel, MBC new drama 'Playful Kiss' held its press conference. When asked about SS501's disbandment, Kim Hyun Joong expressed "Never once did I mention about my moving out of SS501", mentioning his stand to this disbandment talk.

He added, "None of our members mentioned anything about disbandment at all, it was the press media who kept making many talks like this. I don't think of it as 'because we cannot do activities for now' and then feel sad. It's not like that".

"Though my moving into Keyeast will be mainly focused on acting, but we had compromised on my status as singer too. Around next year, I will be showing my side as a singer". However, if he is to prepare in his new agency, then he will become a solo singer, and if so, carrying out activities as SS501 will seem quite translucent at that.....

Kim Hyun Joong who recently moved into Bae Yong Jun's agency Keyeast expressed, "Will be venturing as an actor more for this year, will rest for a little as a singer. We want to do really well, so that's why we decided to take on a drama like this at once".

He also revealed his thoughts about first meeting Bae Yong Jun, "Yong Jun hyung appeared in the car, my first feeling of him was 'what a Zeus', the first moment I saw him, I remembered about 'Yon Sama' immediately, because we shared quite a few words with each other, I recalled that he's a human. Actor Kim Hyun Joong revealed that he "felt like he's going back to those high school days" thanks to Playful Kiss drama, thus attracting attention.

"My character has an an IQ higher than 200 and never fails to get Number 1 in school. There are many scenes where he has to speak many profound stuff, in order for me to act out as naturally as possible, I had been working hard".

Because of that, he has been memorizing many mathematical formulas and is just like a model student, and in reality, he's also really working hard like a real student.

On 26th's press conference at 2PM, he was asked the question of his ideal type, "I like the kind of girl who could be like my friend and also able to control me", "I don't like those who are very arrogant, I prefer one like Oh Hani who's quite pure and silly in the drama, yet who could inspire and control (push and pull) me skillfully enough".

Talking about his partner Jung Somin, "To be honest, we're not very close. But when we were doing the drama together, we somehow became close, but she's one who has the eight-colored charm with her", arousing laughters.

Jung somin also said, "At first, we were both quite stranger to each other, so it was quite awkward. But as time went by, he seemed like a gagman, though it may seem weird at times, we often burst into laughters at times. Was quite interesting".

Playful Kiss will be on par against SBS 'My girlfriend is a Gumiho' with Lee Seunggi and Shin Minah. To that, he said, "The ratings is not something I can control. If it's interesting, they will watch. If it's not, they won't watch. "There were so many more words and phrases that appeared in the script than what I know of. There are so many parts that I have to say in such a manner as though I know its meaning so well, that's why I had to really study it. I'm as though studying my high school stuff which I couldn't do so back then - again".

With regards to his kiss scenes in the drama, "There were a few times I don't look at Jung Somin at all and kisses her without any prior notice at all. It was so awkward, but it's actually more apt to the situation in the drama that way. Thats why literally, a 'naughty kiss' really seems to be it".

In addition, when he was asked to compare which character was closer to his true self, "Both of them are characters from the manhwas; it's totally different from me. Thats why when I was acting it myself, rather than having a practical feeling, I felt more of a manhwa-like/fantasy-like kind of feeling...I just acted in that manner", revealing his thoughts.

He plays Baek Seung Jo, a role of IQ 200 fellow who possesses beauty, wealth and intelligence.
