Yahoo! Korea (www.yahoo.co.kr) has worked alongside Yahoo! Taiwan, Hongkong, Indonesia this year to come together for the [2010 Yahoo! Asia Buzz Award] which reward and picks out the hot and most popular stars.

In this [2010 Yahoo! Asia Buzz Award], Yahoo! Korea is expected to give out the award based on these 3 categories "Male Korean Buzz Star", "Female Korean Buzz Star", "Asia Buzz Star", and will be conducted until November 30 at the following page (http://kr.promotion.yahoo.com/asiabuzz2010).

For the "Female & Male Korean Buzz Stars" category, it nominates 30 stars in each of its Male and Female category, and this will be done by reviewing the number of searches hits between 2010 January - 2010 September; after which from the 30 of them, netizens will again vote for their ideal stars who were listed due to high number of searches, and then after the round of voting by netizens only will the most popular male and female buzz stars be selected. In the male stars nomination list, we see Lee Seung-gi, 2PM, Kim Hyun-joong, Super Junior, BEAST etc, while in the female stars nomination list, we see SNSD, T-ara, KARA, 2NE1, f(x) etc, with a total of 60 nominees holding a rivalry amongst them.

In the "Asia Buzz Star" category, similarly it collates the most number of searches from 2010 January - 2010 September in the Yahoo! search engine and will then fish out 10 such nominees with high votes (which comes from searching on Yahoo) from Korea, Taiwan, Hongkong each, after this is done, the Top 3 stars from each individual country who gets the highest number of polls from netizens will get to be enlisted in the "Asia Buzz Star" category of their own country. From this onwards, the 1st on list amongst the Top 3 will get to compete again for the most number of votes from netizens to vye for the final prestigious "Asia Buzz Star" award, and is expected to pull apart a fiery battle once more in Korea, Hongkong and Taiwan. In 2009 for our country's Kim Hyun-joong, he had managed to beat out the number 1s from Taiwan and Hongkong to receive the "Asia Buzz Star" award.

Through lucky lots, netizens who participate in this "Yahoo! Buzz Award" online voting event, Yahoo! Korea will be presenting the invitation ticket to watch this ceremony in Hongkong and a trip of 2 for a holiday to Hongkong, as well.
